Roto Door Hardware and Replacement Parts

Roto multipoint locks went into hinged patio and entry doors, Weather Shield doors among them. If the gearbox behind the handle has failed and the strip is sound, you replace the gearbox and keep the rest.

  • For the gearbox, open Roto Multipoint and pick the 45mm or 35mm backset. Both fit the current 15-3/4 inch faceplate with teeth at the rod joints.
  • For handles, open Roto Door Handle Sets. Any Hoppe HLS9000 set with the key 3-5/8 inches (92mm) below the lever fits.

Need help? Send photos

Photograph the door edge and measure the backset. We'll confirm the lock before you order.

Which Roto Do You Have?

  • A 13-3/8 inch faceplate, or pins at the rod joints, means an older Roto. Send us photos and we will supply a replacement.
  • Measure the backset from the door edge to the center of the lever: 1-3/4 inches (45mm) or 1-3/8 inches (35mm).

Before Ordering

  • Measure the faceplate length and the backset.
  • Keep your rods, locking points, handles and cylinder. The gearbox comes on its own.

FAQ's About Roto Door Hardware

Which Roto gearbox do I need?

Measure the backset from the door edge to the center of the lever. Order the 45mm or the 35mm gearbox to match. Both fit the 15-3/4 inch faceplate with teeth at the rod joints.

My Roto faceplate is an older style. What now?

A 13-3/8 inch faceplate, or pins at the rod joints, means an older Roto lock. Send us photos and we will supply a replacement.

Which handle set fits my Roto door?

Any Hoppe HLS9000 set with the key 3-5/8 inches (92mm) below the lever. We list the Munchen M112PL/374N on the Roto page, and the other HLS9000 styles are on the Hoppe pages.

Do I reuse my rods and locking points?

Yes. The gearbox comes on its own, and you keep the rods, locking points, handles and cylinder in your door.

My Roto lever lifts but the bolts do not throw. What should I check?

Open the door and lift the lever. If the bolts throw with the door open but not with it shut, the door has dropped, so adjust the hinges. If they do not move with the door open, the gearbox has failed.

Do you sell Roto window parts?

No. We carry Roto door hardware for hinged patio and entry doors.

How do I identify my part?

Photograph the door edge with the door open, then measure the faceplate length and the backset. Send it through our Identify My Part form and we will confirm the correct part before you order.
