Pella Door Hardware and Replacement Parts

Pella fitted locks from more than one maker to its hinged patio and French doors, so the backset tells you which lock you have. Measure from the door edge to the center of the handle and pick the page for the part that failed.

  • If the lock has failed, open Pella Multipoint Door Locks. A 50mm backset is the G-U lock, 45mm the AmesburyTruth P2000 and 60mm the Trilennium.
  • For handles, open Pella Door Handle Sets. The Pella set has a curved lever on a long plate with rounded ends and the key below the lever.
  • If the door has dropped, open Pella Adjustable Hinges for the hinge with a + and - adjuster on the door leaf.
  • Pella Door Parts has the strike, the key cylinder and spare spindles.

About Pella

Pete and Lucille Kuyper started the company in Pella, Iowa, in 1925, and the Kuyper family still owns it. The parts here fit Pella Architect Series, Designer Series and ProLine hinged patio and French doors.

Pella once fitted a lock of its own to some of these doors. The G-U Cremona replaces it, and you will find it as the 50mm kit on Pella Multipoint Door Locks.

Locks in Pella Doors

  • Many Pella doors carry the G-U lock, with a 50mm backset and the key 3-5/8 inches (92mm) below the lever.
  • Pella fitted the AmesburyTruth P2000 to some doors, with a 45mm backset.
  • Some Pella doors have the Trilennium lock, with a 60mm backset and the key 6 inches above the lever.
  • Pella also bought locks from W&F and Cifial. Send us photos of those and we will tell you what we can supply.

Pella Parts We Carry

  • Pella Multipoint Door Locks has the G-U 50mm kit, the G-U gear on its own and the 500mm extension, the AmesburyTruth P2000 45mm gearbox, and the Trilennium gearbox and latch module.
  • Pella Door Handle Sets carries the Pella active and inactive sets in seven finishes.
  • You can buy the adjustable hinge in three finishes and the plain hinge for doors made from May 2001 to July 2006 on Pella Adjustable Hinges.
  • Pella Door Parts has the strike, the SC1 key cylinder and spindles.

Which Pella Hardware Do You Have?

  • Measure the backset from the door edge to the center of the handle: 50mm, 45mm or 60mm.
  • On a G-U lock you can see the G-U logo on the faceplate, and Designer Series locks show 902, 903 or 904 on the door edge.
  • On the hinges, a center screw in a curved arrow marked + and - is the adjustable hinge. Three plain screws and no marks is the 2001 to 2006 hinge.

FAQ's About Pella Door Hardware

Who made the lock in my Pella door?

Pella bought its multipoint locks from G-U, AmesburyTruth, Trilennium, W&F and Cifial. Measure the backset: 50mm is G-U, 45mm the AmesburyTruth P2000 and 60mm the Trilennium.

Which handle set fits my Pella door?

The Pella set fits doors with the G-U or the P2000 lock, with the key 3-5/8 inches (92mm) below the lever. A Trilennium door, with the key 6 inches above the lever, takes a Trilennium set.

Can I replace only the gear in my G-U lock?

Yes, if the faceplate and the strip are sound. If either is damaged, order the 50mm kit, which brings the gear and the top shootbolt together.

My Pella door has dropped and will not latch. What should I check?

Open the door and lift the handle. If the bolts throw with the door open but catch the frame with it shut, adjust the hinges with the + and - screw before you replace anything.

Do you sell Pella storm door parts?

No. We carry the hardware for Pella hinged patio and French doors.

How do I identify my part?

Photograph the door edge with the door open and both faces of the handles, then measure the backset. Send it through our Identify My Part form and we will confirm the correct part before you order.
