Interlock Multipoint Door Lock Hardware
When you lift the lever on an Interlock door, the lock throws its bolts and pulls the door tight against its seal. If the lever goes slack or the bolts stop moving, the lock case has failed, and you can replace it on its own.
Measure three things on your lock: the backset, the distance from lever to key, and the faceplate length. Then find your lock in the table.
| Backset | Lever to key | Faceplate | Lock |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30mm | 85mm | 8-1/4" | Multipoint lock, 30mm (56-124) |
| 35mm | 85mm | 11-1/4", extended | Multipoint lock, 35mm (56-695) |
| 40mm | 85mm | 8-1/4" | Multipoint lock, 40mm (56-132-40) |
| 50mm | 92mm | 8-1/2" | Multipoint lock, 50mm (56-837-50) |
| 50mm | 85mm | long throw deadbolt | Optimum lock (56-383) |
| 30mm | 85mm | one case only | Single point lock (56-169) |

View full detailsAbout Interlock Lever Compression Locks
Interlock, an ASSA ABLOY brand, built these locks for aluminum and vinyl swing doors. Lifting the lever drives the deadbolt, the latch and the shootbolts at the top and bottom, and pulls the door against its weather seal. The Optimum lock adds a long throw deadbolt.
Before Ordering
- Measure the backset, from the door edge to the center of the spindle.
- Measure from lever to key: 85mm (3-11/32 inches) or 92mm (3-5/8 inches).
- Measure the faceplate length and width.
- Check the deadbolt throw.
- Keep your shootbolt rods. The locks come without them.

FAQ's About Interlock Multipoint Door Locks
How do I identify my Interlock lock?
Measure the backset, the distance from lever to key and the faceplate length, then find them in the table on this page. Send us photos if two locks look close.
What is a lever compression lock?
Lifting the lever drives the deadbolt, the latch and the shootbolts and pulls the door against its weather seal, so the door locks tighter and seals better.
Is my lock 85mm or 92mm?
Measure from the center of the lever spindle to the center of the key cylinder: 85mm reads 3-11/32 inches and 92mm reads 3-5/8 inches. The replacement must match.
Do the locks include the shootbolt rods?
No. Each lock comes as the case, and you reuse the rods from your door. The Optimum lock also comes without its handle.
My door will not lock when I lift the lever. Is it the lock?
Lift the lever with the door open and watch the bolts. If they throw with the door open but bind with it shut, the strikes are out of line with the door. If nothing moves with the door open, the lock case has failed.
How do I identify my part?
Photograph the lock on the door edge with the door open, then measure the backset and the distance from lever to key. Send it through our Identify My Part form and we will confirm the correct part before you order.
