Interlock Single Point Lock with a 30mm Backset and 85mm Lever to Cylinder

Open the door and look at its edge beside the handle. If you see one stainless faceplate about 8-1/4 inches tall with a latch and a deadbolt, and no rods run to the top and bottom of the door, you have a single point lock. This Interlock (Assa Abloy) lock carries the Interlock Assa Abloy name on its faceplate.

Measure from the door edge to the center of the handle spindle, and you should read 1-3/16 inches (30mm). From the spindle down to the center of the key cylinder you should read 85mm. If rods run from your lock to the top and bottom of the door, you need one of the Interlock multipoint locks instead.

You can set the latch for a left or right hand door: take out the latch screw, turn the latch to face the other way and put the screw back. Most fitters pair this lock with the Interlock Verona handle set, and you can move your European profile cylinder across from the old lock.
