Simonswerk Millennium 2-D Guide Hinge for Weather Shield and Peachtree Doors

Special order in polished brass and black. Allow 1 to 2 weeks to ship those finishes.

Open your Weather Shield or Peachtree door and measure a hinge. If both leaves are 4" tall and the thick leaf has an oval slot marked H, you need this guide hinge.

With the door open, you turn the screw in that slot with a hand Phillips screwdriver to move the door toward or away from the hinge side. Weather Shield says not to use a power driver.

If you go by the Pat.Nr. 5701636 stamp on your old hinge, measure as well, because HTL Ultimate and Columbus hinges carry the same number. On a Millennium the flat leaf runs straight into the barrel, and its top and bottom holes sit at the outer corners.

  • Adjustment: About 5/64" (2mm) each way, screw in the oval slot marked H, hand Phillips screwdriver
