Hold this next to the active lock and what stands out is everything missing from the edge of it. No latch tongue, no deadbolt, no cylinder. Two rod couplings and nothing else. That is the whole job of a passive lock: lift the handle on the leaf you keep shut, two rods drive into the head and the sill, and the active leaf then latches against its edge.

Ashland made it for PGT alone. It takes the same 5/16-18 rods as the active lock, which is the thread PGT used and nobody else did, so your rods will not swap with the 1/4-20 rods every other Ashland concealed lock takes. Same short 3/8 inch standoff too, and the same radius-corner mounting plate with no faceplate supplied.

The rods are not in the box and nobody sells the 5/16-18 ones separately, so reuse the pair from your door. This one is a special order and takes one to two weeks to reach us, which is a good reason to check the thread before you commit rather than after.
