Lockmaster Multipoint Lock Gearbox - 45mm Backset, Latch & Deadbolt

Read "Lockmaster 304" on the face of your lock and look at the center of the strip. If it throws a deadbolt, this gearbox replaces the case behind your handle; the hook version is a separate gearbox. Lockmaster is Yale's multipoint lock range.

The gearbox has no spring of its own, so your handle set must have a spring cassette or the levers will droop. It is non-handed: undo the screw in the latch, take the latch out, turn it over, put it back and refit the screw.

Notes

  • Backset: 1-3/4" (45mm), from the door edge to the center of the handle
  • Handle PZ: 2-7/16" (62mm) or 3-5/8" (92mm), from the center of the square spindle hole to the middle of the keyhole; the case has a spindle hole at each
  • Spindle: 8mm double spindle
  • Center bolt: deadbolt, 1" (25mm) throw
  • Handing: non-handed, reversible latch
  • Handle set: must have a spring cassette
