Hoppe Adjustable Set Hinge in Gold, Left Hand Inswing / Right Hand Outswing

Your door hangs its weight on the set hinge, so a worn one lets the panel sag. This gold Hoppe set hinge fits left hand inswing and right hand outswing doors.

The set hinge holds the door at its height. You pry the cap off the bottom of the barrel and turn the 3/16" hex screw: tighten it to raise the door and loosen it to lower the door. A label on the frame leaf points down to the sill when the hinge is the right way up.

To find your door's hand, stand outside it. Hinges on your left make a left hand door, and hinges on your right a right hand door. Then check whether the door swings in or out. For a right hand inswing or left hand outswing door, order the other gold set hinge.

Most doors take one set hinge between two guide hinges. On a door between 165 and 330 lb, Hoppe fits two set hinges.
