You need this satin nickel cylinder when your door is about 3 inches thick and your old one measures 35.5mm inside and 55.5mm outside.

You turn the crescent knob on the inside and the key on the outside. If your door has one of Hoppe's key operated locks with no handle, you need a 360 degree cylinder instead.

Hoppe offsets this cylinder because the lock sits off center in the door. Fit the 35.5mm side on the inside, the way your old one came out.
