G-U Wolverine Inactive Shootbolt Lock, 45mm Backset, Stainless Faceplate

This is the one for the leaf you do not walk through. On a pair of doors the inactive panel needs holding top and bottom so the active door has something to latch against, and that is all this gear does. Two points, no deadbolt, because there is no key on that leaf.

Lift the handle and both shootbolts run out, one into the sill and one into the head. Drop it and the panel releases. Same 45mm backset and 35 inch handle height as the active Wolverine gears, so the handle hardware matches across the pair.

Supplied as the gear and the bottom shootbolt. The top shootbolt is GU-854-10886. For panels over 81 inches add the extension GU-854-14417. Stainless screws are GU-854-11103.

The shootbolts adjust for height, which matters more on an inactive leaf than an active one. That panel gets moved twice a year and spends the rest of its life taking the weight of whatever leans on it, so the bolts drift out of their keeps sooner.
