G-U Secury Automatic Multipoint Lock, 45mm Backset, 6'8" Door

Shut the door and it locks itself. The two latchbolts shoot 20mm the moment the door meets the frame and a catch stops anyone pushing them back. Turn the key outside or the knob inside and a 1 inch deadbolt drops in the middle, which locks the latchbolts too. Three deadbolts, one motion, and nobody has to remember to lift a handle.

This is the shorter of the two 45mm locks. It suits a 6'8" panel. If yours is an 8 foot door, order GU-854-16695 instead, same backset, longer strip.

The key goes above the handle on this range, American style, and it takes a US cylinder with a 90 degree turn. Look at the faceplate on your existing lock before ordering: this one has rounded edges, so a mortise cut with square corners will show a gap.

Lever handles only. A Gripset handle needs the Gripset version of this lock and the two do not swap.
