G-U Eagle Automatic Multipoint Lock, 8 Ft Door, Silver Faceplate

The 8 foot Eagle in silver. Longer strip than the 6 foot 8 version, and the top latch bolt sits a foot higher to suit the taller panel.

Operation is automatic. Shut the door and both latch bolts throw on their own. Key from outside, knob from inside, and the 1 inch deadbolt drops through the middle and locks the latches where they are.

Everything at the handle end is the same as the short version: 45mm backset, handle 35 inches up, key above the handle. What changes is the reach. The top latch bolt lands 43-1/2 inches up the strip rather than 31-1/4, so this is not a part you can substitute for the short one by trimming.

It can be trimmed at the top for a panel slightly under 8 feet.
