G-U Stainless Steel Astragal Flush Bolt, 26mm Rod Backset

This is the stainless version, built for tall doors. G-U rate the system for panels from 6 foot 8 all the way up to 10 foot, which is where most flush bolts run out of travel and start flexing the rod.

Everything happens on the edge of the inactive leaf. Flip the lever 180 degrees and the top and bottom rods run out together, 14mm each end. Flip it back and the leaf releases. The lever body measures 250mm long, 20mm wide and 32mm deep, so check that your astragal mortise is long enough before you order.

The rod backset is fixed at 26mm. That figure is not adjustable, so measure the old bolt before you commit. If yours sits at a different distance from the face, the zinc GU-854-15722 adjusts between 12.7 and 28mm and will probably cover it.

Rods are sold separately, 10mm round, cut to your door height.
