Fuhr Multipoint Gearbox Replacement Lock - 45mm Backset

Replacement gearbox (mortise lock case) for Fuhr multipoint and single-point door locks. It has a 1-3/4 inch (45mm) backset, a 3-5/8 inch (92mm) handle-to-cylinder distance, and an 8mm spindle. The latch is non-handed and reversible for handing flexibility.

Fuhr made two styles of gearbox, and this one fits the newer style, held to the faceplate with three screws. Compare your gearbox with the photos here before you order. If it differs in any way, call us: your door needs a Hoppe lock in place of the Fuhr one, and we will match it. To reverse the latch handing, remove the hex head screw, reverse the latch, and reinstall the screw.

Notes

  • Gearbox / mortise case only.
  • Fits: the newer Fuhr gearbox style, fixed to the faceplate with 3 screws. A different gearbox needs a Hoppe lock; call us.
  • Non-handed, reversible latch; 8mm spindle.
